Welcome to your midweek snack break.
If you’re new to the whole gratitude game, it can seem overwhelming. Do I have to be grateful for everything? Even the shitty things?
Gratitude isn’t toxic positivity. Gratitude is understanding that sometimes things suck but offers you an opportunity to focus on the non-suck. Gratitude is our recognition that goodness freely flows into our lives. The more we notice, the more we notice.
As soon as you start looking at your life with grateful eyes, you’ll start to see so many things that need honoring.
A great way to get started is by doing away with that whole sentence structure business. It’s so bulky and time-consuming stringing together subjects and predicates. Get right onto the action with some lists. Jot down words or phrases as they come to you.
Here are a few ideas to get you started.
