Like A Filmstrip for 2021
(do I like writing in purple ink because it reminds me of ditto machines?)
Welcome to your thank-god-its-almost-the-weekend snack break. Unless youโre working this weekend, in which case, consider this your you-can-do-it snack break.
Iโve been reading and researching a lot about the intersection of gratitude and apology, but also about how much we apoligize, how truly ridiculuous it is, and how we canโt stop.
Here are my two favorite pieces:
This underappreciated Ted talk by Maja Jovanovic, sociologist and anti-apologist from Ontario, Canada.
This article from Forbes was written about workplace etiquette and how to replace the useless apology with more practical behavior. I think it translates into real life and almost all situations.
See you on Monday!
THANK YOU!!!๐๐ฝ๐๐
