My most joy-giving example of the correct remark at the correct time was, alas, accidental. When at university in Hull, I was walking into town with my friend Dave and we saw a crowd of kids up ahead outside a shop all looking at someone and I said to Dave, "Who's this clown?" - not a phrase I have a tendency to use much, no idea where it came from.
When we got nearer, the person the kids were gathered around turned out to be an actual clown. So satisfying, I still remember it fondly thirty years later.
Quality. I'd have cheered you.

I'm Team Cannoli, sorry! Not just because my kids and I had a running joke about Obi-Wan Cannoli either.
Eclairs are better. But that joke, it had to be made. I think there is a law along those lines ☺️
I agree, I am on that hill with you.
You made me laugh!:)
